We are hosting a missions program twice a year. Our goal is to offer a look inside the coffee shop industry and the basics in owning and operating a small business through giving young adults a new way to experience the mission field by having them live "normal" lives in a foreign country while working in the marketplace.
For 3 1/2 months your days would look a lot like a regular person; you would have some classes, have a job, travel a bit, be a part of a church, socialize with the local people, be involved in the community, and live with other young adults while sharing household responsibilities. At the same time you would be involved in ministry and outreach projects around Mazatlan.
Whether you are a college graduate, fresh out of high school, in between jobs, or looking for something new it is an opportunity to serve Jesus in a practical way in Mexico, and grow in your understanding of missions, business, and service.
Your time working at the shop will help pay for building a house for a local family in need. You might even have the chance to be a physical part of the build.
The amount to be raised for this 16 week program is $2,000.
